About us

Who are we? Andrew & Caroline Lewis have been involved in the Arb Industry for many years. Andrew started out as a tree planter, & then trained to work for the Utility Arboriculture Industry on tree maintenance. He was later joined by Caroline and they worked together as a climbing and cutting team.

It was after much research that they decided to start Proclimber®, and after many years of hard work made it into the successful business it is today. Andrew later moved on to training and eventually founded Proclimber®Training, he is now running regular courses and has become an NPTC Trainer, Assessor, & and a tree work auditor for a Utility Company.

Caroline is fully employed running Proclimber® Arb Supplies and the admin for both Proclimber® & Proclimber® Training, but she still finds the time to do a little tree climbing. Proclimber® has branched out (excuse the pun) into other aspects of rope supplies, and as they are qualified splicers have been supplying the needs of Film Companies for their stunt ropes. They have supplied various ropes for all the Harry Potter films, James Bond and many others. Andrew is often asked to make up specialised items for expeditions and has travelled the world building wood bridges and special displays for new vehicle launches. Their motto is “we don’t want to be the biggest, just the best”!
